Shawn Hogle, GRI, ABR
Shawn specializes in all facets of the Real Estate business, whether it be navigating the way for first timers, trying to score that perfect distressed property for an investor, or providing help in the luxury market, he knows and has experienced it all. He earned his real estate license in 2004 and has received from the National Association of Realtors the designations of a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI) as well as the designation of Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR). Since then, he's helped hundreds of clients reach their real estate goals.
Shawn says, “I enjoy helping people. I remember helping a couple moving back to Louisville after being deployed in Iraq. They were a young couple, eager to learn and make the most of every opportunity. We found a home that was a good fit for their growing family. A couple years later in 2011 they took the brave step of becoming real estate investors. With a small investment of $6,000 they were able to purchase the property. It provided a positive cash flow over $400 a month. Eight years later they decided to take advantage of the strong seller’s market and sell their investment. After painting, new flooring and a few minor repairs they were able to sell the home for a profit of $85,000 and that isn’t considering the cash flow after all the bills were paid on the property. That’s an additional $35,000. So, that adds up to $120,000 profit on $6,000 investment with a 400% rate of return. That is a real example of improving lives through real estate. Since the purchase of the investment property, their family has grown. They’ve sold the first house and were able to buy their dream house. To me, this is what its all about, improving people’s lives through real estate and I am blessed to be a part of it”.
In 2019, Shawn decided to pursue his dream of owning his own real estate brokerage, “I’ve worked for several well-known and well-respected real estate companies, but for me, I wanted the freedom to make bold decisions and make my own way. We’ve become more creative and offer a broader scope of services. I feel that as the real estate industry has evolved and become more innovative and efficient, so have I.”
The naming of the brokerage was not an easy decision. However, Shawn decided having his name on the business lined up with what he believed, "I put my personal reputation on the line with each transaction. I believe that if there's an issues during a transaction, I'm personally responsible. That’s real. And for me, It’s not just business it’s personal”.
All the Best!
